Angel ‘Bombing’

Christmas (there, I’ve said it) may seem a long way off, but for the Angel Bombers it’s time to start thinking about knitting, so that the woolly heavenly host is ready to fly in December.

For those not familiar with Angel Bombing, small knitted angels are placed around villages, each bearing a message of blessing. Each finder will then take the angel and the message home. These have been very popular over the past few years and have become a feature of the villages’ Christmas preparations.

If you can help by knitting angels, that would be great! Anything from a single angel to an entire throng would be welcome. They can be left with Di Ruddock (Rougham, 01359 270731), Sarah Lock (Hessett, 01359 271877), or Debbie Marshall (Beyton, 01359 271314). Please ring one of them for a knitting pattern, or look in the Parish magazine. Angels should be received by Saturday 14th December.
